Sunday Afternoons at 4.30pm
Sunday afternoons are our regular worship gathering. It’s an informal hour-and-a-bit, centred on the person and work of Jesus Christ and aimed at helping us know God better. The preaching of God’s word is central, and there is a mix of congregational worship, prayers, and the occasional interview or question time. Roughly once a month, we share the Lord’s Supper too.
If you’re bringing children, there are groups for children over 1. The service is also streamed into the kitchen in case you need a calm space with any little ones. There’s always tea and cake available from 4pm, so come early and meet others.
Tuesday Evenings at 7.30pm
Our small group bible-studies run throughout term-time. Throughout August we meet in St Mark’s on Tuesdays for Summerlink. It’s a mix of teaching and discussion. Whoever is around over the summer gathers and there are no assigned groups. This August we’re thinking about Walking in Wisdom from the book of Proverbs (7.30pm for bread, cheese & snacks, 8pm start.)
During term time we meet in the same groups. We look at a book of the bible, or part of a book. We aim to help each other understand what God is saying and how we should respond. We seek to prayerfully support one another and share our lives. (On the first Tuesday of the month, we meet to pray). There’s a meal from 7.30pm and we start at 8pm.
